The 21st series of the National University of Singapore Muscle and Fitness War was held on campus on 23rd January 2010 at the Recreation Centre Multi-purpose Hall 2. This iconic event is the traditional curtain raiser of a new calendar year for local bodybuilding.
Twenty-one (21) student competitors from Singapore's three Universities, five Polytechnics, two Technical Institutes and two Adult Institutes of Higher Learning battled to be crowned Champions in the 170 cm and above 170 cm Tertiary Men's Athletic Physique categories.
Twelve (12) bodybuilding athletes from six (6) bodybuilding clubs and the two tertiary categories champions competed against each other to be crowned the first Bodybuilding Champion of 2010.
Guest of Honor Mr. Paul Chua, Secretary General of the World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation and the Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation exclaimed that the high quality of the young competitors in the three Men's categories, the Women's Model Physique category and the boisterous and raucous sell-out crowd gave him such great joy to be there.
Tan Zhen Wei with his well chiseled physique won the 170 cm category with a comfortable margin. However it was a very close battle in the above 170 cm category and Myren Fu had to fight hard all the way to win the gold medal.
Danie Dharma won the Men's Open Bodybuilding gold medal after being pushed hard by all the way by the smaller Tan Zhen Wei.
In the Ms Model Physique category all four competitors put up a very polished presentation. Yekaterina Robacker with her more athletic physique eventually won the judges' votes and the gold medal.
